Types of Geogrid
HDPE Uniaxial Geogrid

A uniaxial Geogrid has maximum strength in one direction compared to the other direction. Besides, a uniaxial Geogrid is used mostly in wall and slope applications.
HDPE Triaxial Geogrid
This is a type of HDPE Geogrid that has a triangular structure which is a multi-directional structure. Due to this triangular structure, there is a reduction in thickness of the entire layer.
Furthermore, a HDPE Triaxial Geogrid has also good creep resistance and high tensile strength. Also has better bearing capacity and in-plane stiffness compared to biaxial and uniaxial HDPE Geogrids.
Biaxial HDPE Geogrid
This are grids that are made up of high-density polyethylene plastic and has equal strength in both two different directions to be able to support the structure. Biaxial are mainly used in reinforcing and stabilizing of grounds.
