Geocomposite Drainage
Geocomposite drainage an in plane form of drainage with a structural form of two polymer structures and the inner core material. The inner core material in a compression net form permits gaseous and liquid flow. While the geotextile layers allow filtration and drainage.
Benefits of Geocomposite Drainage

The drainage has a geotextile filtration layer that prevents the soil ingress/backfill particles from clogging the core zone.

Geocomposite drainage enables fast flow of water. The drainage has an open void design structure that allows water to pass through in a high speed rate.

It requires a low cost of installation when we compare with other traditional methods such as the granular drainage. The materials that build up the drainage structure are not highly capital intensive.

Application of the geocomposite drainage enhances a reduction in the movement of emissions due to reduction in the material mass.

It enables high performance in both its horizontal and vertical alignment forms. We can as well fit them in structures that we fully or partially burry to the ground.

Geocomposite drainages have stable under loads that offer maximum resistance to any force of deformation that can block the flow line.
How to Manufacture Drainage Geocomposite
- Start by obtaining a drainage sheet with perforations
- Join together a drainage sheet with a second filtration sheet
- Place the drainage sheet parallel to the filtration sheet
- Application of needle punching process to join the various components of the geocomposite
- Assemble various components of the elements and pass them in a needle punching machine
- Ensure all the sheets undergo needle punching.
- Assemble and ensure the resulting materials of the geocomposite are rot-proof
- Complete by needle punching with a single strike machine

Geocomposite Drainage Material
- Geotextile – A component of geosynthetic applicable in the filtration and drainage processes
- Geomembrane – It is a form of geosynthetic that is impervious in nature, and forms barriers in waste disposal containment
- Geogrids – They perform the role of reinforcement
Applications of Geocomposite Drainage System
- Drainage Geocomposites in Dykes – They are applicable in offering the horizontal drainage in downstream slopes of the dyke. Besides, they also offer internal sector drainage to the homogenous fill within the dyke.
- Under Slab Drainage – Drainage decomposites assist in driving away water to the right exits thus preventing damage to the slab.
- Chimney Drainage – The drainage system technically lowers the existing hydrostatic pressure, hence transfers the ground water away.
- Roadways Drainage – We place them adjacent to the pavements along the highways so as to execute a lateral form of drainage.
- Foundation Drainage – It directs groundwater away from the building through the reduction of hydrostatic pressure, thus preventing damage.

Recommended Drainage Geocomposite Price

Prices of the Available Raw Materials
Drainage geocomposite results from the combination of various geosynthetics that come from synthetic materials. The cost of the synthetic polymers directly affects the final pricing of the drainage geocomposite.
Drainage Geocomposite Design
We have unique drainage geocomposites such as the multilinear drainage that use the mini-pipes with perforations instead of the geonet. The difference in the designs results to alteration in pricing.
Mechanical Properties of Drainage Geocomposite
Mechanical properties of the drainage geocomposite includes it’s durability/the tensile strength. The tensile strength is determinable by the material of the core.
A material with high quality and density produces high strength, thus very costly to acquire.
Forms in Geocomposite Drainage Exist

This is a foundation component with a waterproof feature that enables vertical draining of water down trough a sandwich panel.

Geocomposite drainage layers are sheets with dimple like openings that permit water penetration to flow to the points of discharge.

This is a layer of the geocomposite drainage with a high performance core that has an attachment of filters and hollows in separate sides. It assists in cutting –off trenches and restriction of landfills.

It is a mesh-like structure that we obtain from the high density polyethylene material. Besides, it offers high performance drainage.

This is a long linear channel that is fit in the geocomposite drainage to evacuate water from the surface.
